I have been working with Trainer Kentaro for about six or seven years now. Around the time I turned 30, I started noticing changes in my physical condition compared to my 20s. Given the personal training boom at the time, I decided to seek professional help to achieve my goals more efficiently rather than training haphazardly on my own.

Fortunately, I wasn't looking to lose weight, but rather to build muscle, alleviate my back pain, and achieve a healthier body. Although I considered hiring an American trainer, I didn’t want a heavily muscled physique like that of many Americans. I preferred a Japanese trainer who could understand my ideal body type and communicate easily with me. That’s when I found Trainer Kentaro. The fact that he could come to my home gym was incredibly appealing, as it saved me time. Knowing myself, I wouldn't have been able to keep up with training if I had to travel to a gym. Having him come to me was a huge plus. Even on days when I wasn’t motivated, once he arrived, I had no choice but to train. This was the perfect option for someone like me who tends to be lazy.

I still remember how sore I was after our first session; I could hardly get out of bed. It made me realize just how out of shape I had been. But with each session, I saw visible results, and I was so thrilled that I even sent photos of my toned abs to my friends. Trainer Kentaro has a deep understanding of the body lines that Japanese women aim for and provides precise advice on where to build muscle. Training is tough, no doubt about it. However, when a friend commented one day that my butt looked lifted, I felt that all my hard work was worth it.

During our time together, I also went through pregnancy and childbirth. Thanks to continuing my training during pregnancy, I believe I was able to minimize common issues like back pain. After giving birth, even my physical therapist was impressed with how smoothly my body recovered.

As time has passed, my goals have shifted. Now I’m fighting the relentless accumulation of fat. Despite my inability to give up chocolate, I’ve managed to maintain my current physique, thanks to Trainer Kentaro. He has instilled in me a positive mindset where if I eat chocolate, I’ll make sure to work it off. What I once hated – training – has now become a great way to relieve stress, and I’m extremely grateful for Kentaro’s positive energy.
